The hotel was beautiful, I appreciated fantastic rooms and very friendly staff. The great and good location was a walking distance from Barbican House. The property was set in a rural area. Stay here was really great, I didn't want to say goodbye...

Location, quirkiness, beach, low key, relaxing, friendly (hi Dody).
Only that the breakfast was a bit do-it-yourself and tended to run out if you weren't there early.

Nautilus is a nice plase to live, hwen you like to lay in the sun.Small opportunities to by food. The room did`nt have a fridgerator, the toilett vas a bit broke.
I like the shief there- he is very service-minded. The stuff dont`t speak anither languages than Italian. This is too bad.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, where our room was spotless and had a lovely view, and it was conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the market.

Access to the Lago de Como was immediate as the hotel was right on the lake with its own beach. Views over the lake are indeed beautiful. Nice pool.
The hotel was truly the Italian version of Fawlty Towers, a true spoof of contemporary hospitality. The rooms were built in the 1950's by a boat fanatic and have never been renovated. The beds are fold-out style and are terrible. The bathrooms are minuscule and have almost no water flow. The food was a disgrace: stale bread, really, I am not joking, rancid butter and guests waited on themselves as the owner had not shown up. He is clearly more interested in his beautiful and expensive Italian Lake boat collection, which he funds by charging us a disgraceful 210eur for one night: we are a family of four, with two teenagers. Avoid this place like the plague. do not go there ever. We were ripped off and feel very annoyed.

Good frendly hotel with an excellant position right on the lake, easy to find as just off the main road but without traffic noise.
Breakfast could be improved.

It had a fantastic location on the side of Lake Como, It had beautiful grounds.
We had no hot water, the swimming pool was closed, there was no food and the nearest restuarant was driving distance only. Breakfast was crossiants and yoghurts only!

Location by the lake was excellent, great site with much potential. Only location problem was that we have to drive out too far to eat. .
But little or no hot water, shaving in cold, the morning I left there was no water at all, could not even flush the toilet. The air conditioning did not work and the swimming pool was not to be used. The only food was breakfast which was meagre, a few of those puffy things I cant spell the name of, (which are left on the table in the box that they are delivered in) sliced bread you could toast, jams, and coffee and that's it. The "bar" was a few warm Becks, all served by the most miserable single member of staff, we could only call him Basil and try and laugh about the situation

The location of this hotel is superb, right on the beach with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The beach itself is fantastic, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are well maintained and feature comfortable amenities. the breakfast is exquisite, with a great selection of delicious food.
There were some notable drawbacks during our stay. The hotel lacked some basic amenities, such as a restaurant on the premises, and water sports equipment was old and not fully functional.

Motel Nautilus is located right on the shore of Lake Como's eastern leg, on the road between Lecco and Bellagio. It has a nice, white rock stretch of private beach, and pleasant grass / tree-covered grounds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the small rooms were clean and comfortable. If looking for a luxurious spa resort, then maybe Nautilus isn't for you, but if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a nice private beach in a quiet location - it's perfect. Most of the rooms have excellent views, right on the lake. The drive to Bellagio is only about 15 minutes.

Motel Nautilus is set in a unique and isolated location on the shores of Lake Como in approx. 600M of lakefront gardens, full of trees, terraces and lounging areas. You feel far removed from the built up areas and within nature when in fact it takes 5 minutes to drive to the nearest lakeshore village for restaurants and amenities. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and attentive whilst still creating a relaxing , laidback environment. We really enjoyed our time here and were impressed with all aspects of the motel.
